SABI SABI PRIVATE GAME RESERVE
Adjoining the world renowned Kruger National Park lays the Sabi Sabi Reserve, home to Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve where sightings of members of the Big 5 of lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino are frequent. A drive of approximately 5 hours from Johannesburg will take you from the hustle and bustle of the city into the heart of safari country. For those who prefer to fly in, Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve has its own airstrip.
Whilst renowned as a Big 5 area, Sabi Sabi also offers a wide variety of fauna and flora on your safari experience. Known as being located in a biodiversity ‘hotspot’, Sabi Sabi supports over 300 species of birds, 47 large mammal species, 57 species of reptile and a myriad of small animals such as bats, small rodents, amphibians and invertebrates such as spiders, scorpions and insects. All of these co-exist in an area with over 90 species of trees and many more shrubs and grass species.
