INYATI PRIVATE GAME RESERVE
Set in the 65,000 ha, world-renowned Sabi Sand Reserve adjoining the Kruger National Park, Inyati Private Game Reserve has been rated as offering one of the best game experiences in South Africa. A drive of approximately 5 hours from Johannesburg leads you to the heart of safari country where sightings of members of the Big Five, lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino are numerous. Air access to a private airstrip in the vicinity is also possible for those who prefer to fly in.
Offering the discerning guest luxury and friendly service, Inyati Private Game Reserve will provide an unequalled and unforgettable African safari experience. Safari game drives are conducted in specialised open 4 x 4 Land Rovers in state-of-the-art comfort. An area of over 10, 000 ha is traversed in search of animals in their natural habitat.
Luxury Chalets, decorated in rich earthy tones and quality fabrics combine with the African décor creating a safari experience in luxurious surroundings. The eleven chalets spread under the canopy of indigenous trees are air-conditioned and have mosquito nets for your comfort.
Executive Chalets boast a king-size bed, indoor and outdoor shower as well as a large sunken bath and a sitting area. The front and back private patio is the perfect perch from which to enjoy your sundowner whilst gazing at the spectacular bushveld panorama.
A fully equipped gym is available for the energetic or laze in the cooling waters of the beckoning swimming pool. The Warthog Wallow bar is the pre-dinner meeting place where stories are recounted, friendships made. The unique delicacies of the Boma dinner are prepared on an open fire amidst the sounds and aromas of Africa. A truly traditional African experience.
Our river deck overlooks the lush vegetation of the magnificent Sand River, often visited by herds of elephant. Enjoy natures tranquil sounds as game stroll down to the waters edge to quench their thirst or bathe. For the bird enthusiast, over 250 species, resident and migrant, are found in the reserve. Anglers may want to try their hand in the perennial Sand River. An abundance of reptile and insect life are also found in this vast, pristine African bushveld. Enjoy sundowners whilst watching the varied wildlife of Africa from the comfort of our barge on the river.
